Episode 72: Ted Green’s Circle-of-Life CE Career

This week, Ted Green joins us from Metuchen, NJ, where he is president of the The Stratecon Group, a strategic marketing company for the consumer electronics industry. Ted’s career spans more than 30 years, all in the CE business. His work has taken him from mass merchant & specialty retailing…to manufacturing, distribution, and… now strategic marketing and journalism. He may be best known for his influential and sometimes controversial Stata-GEE newsletter, which gained a ton of new subscribers, recently, thanks to his reporting on the challenges facing CEDIA Expo planners as the Covid-19 Delta Variant led to a mass exodus of exhibitors just weeks before that show. I consider Ted a good friend and I appreciate how he ruffles feathers in the industry, just as long as I’m not the subject of any of his stories.
